Experience Hyundai has an immediate requirement for a Parts/Service Video Advisor in Charlottetown, PEI.

The Parts/Service Video Advisor will take video of ongoing repairs to client vehicles, keeping them updated on progress, and allowing them a chance to be part of the decision-making process. This role will also involve maintaining a tidy environment both in the shop and on the lot, as well as other duties assigned by the Service Manager. This is an entry level position, providing the opportunity to gain a rewarding career with Atlantic Canada’s largest automotive group. The ideal candidate would have automotive knowledge, but we are happy to train the right person. This role will also require the Videographer to provide back up as a Service Advisor when needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Precise video documentation of repairs on client vehicles
  • Proper explanation of the technicians’ vehicle prognosis on video
  • Efficient and prompt upload of video to client
  • Cleanliness of service department
  • Service department support when and where required

Requirements:

  • Be comfortable to explain service processes on camera (voice only)
  • Be prompt, punctual and detailed orientated
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract.

  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements
  • Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Automotive Detailer

Experience Hyundai has an immediate opening for an Automotive Detailer.   • Report any imperfections of new vehicles to management
  • Proper application of products on interior and exterior of sold vehicles
  • Buffing of vehicles when required
  • Preparation of new and used vehicles to ensure optimal presentation
  • Parking of vehicles appropriately on the lot and in delivery areas
  • Maintain workspace to ensure it is safe and clean

Requirements:

  • Desire to work in a Service Department where teamwork and customer satisfaction are #1.
  • Experience in cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles is considered an asset, but not required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract and be able to drive a manual shift
  • Be hardworking, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills
